What do I need to do to prepare for my session?

I highly recommend making sure you have time and space to relax afterwards, preferably for the rest of the day. Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to skip make-up or fixing your hair if you'd like. What's most important is that you feel safe and comfortable. 

How will I feel after my session?

It is common to feel tired, especially after an Internal Family Systems session because of the depth of work in a short amount of time. After a session, it's common to feel peaceful, lighter, and more connected. It's possible that you will feel emotional, during or after the session, as your system processes the healing work you have done. Know that this is OK and can be a normal part of the healing process. Be gentle and nurturing towards yourself and don't hesitate to contact me if you need guidance or support.

How often are sessions recommended?

I recommended doing what feels right for you. For some people, only one session is needed to see a big difference. For others, multiple sessions might be more appropriate. It depends on where you are on your healing journey and on how much support you might need or want. I'm happy to let you know what I feel might be most appropriate for you after your first session, but above all, I recommend listening to your own inner guidance.

I can't afford a session. Will you still work with me?
